At 300, you can begin to learn new formulas from Three Grand Master Enchanter Trainers found in Outland (Burning Crusade Expansion)

In Shattrath (undeniably the hub of Outland and the location where you will choose between two factions, Aldor & Scryer) High Enchanter Bardolan (43,92) is a Scryer. So choosing Scryer will allow you to continue visiting Bardolan in Shattrath.

For those favoring Aldor, you'll need to take an inconvenient trip to Honor Hold and find Grand Master Enchanter Johan Barnes at 53,66 (Hellfire Peninsula). He's located 1 level below the top of the tower. Or find Asarnan in Netherstorm at 43,33 (Southern area of the large Northern-most island).
Both appear to be neutral.

However, until you make the faction choice between Aldor & Scryer.. anyone can freely visit Bardolan in Shattrath.

libram of voracity

You need to get 4 Crystal force (from pylons in ungoro by collecting the correct crystals from around the area), 4 whipper tuber root (DM east drops off plants), 1 black diamond.

Take those items and the libram to "Mathredis Firestar" NPC at the Flame Crest cave of Burning Steppes. Its cave on the North side. It will also cost you 30g, and he will then give you the arcanum that you can use on your leg and head slot gear.

Hope that helps "

Thanks, and to elaborate:
The crystal force are from a quest in Un'Goro, first you must do the prerequisites (discover all 3 pylons from J.D. Collie) and then bring 10 Blue Power Crystal and 10 Green Power Crystal to the eastern pylon, you will get 6 Crystal Force; you can throw away 2.
The tubers are from a 'quest'; the full details on this lucrative business in Felwood can be found here: http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?ccb=1&v=685997

Enjoy your +8 stat!~

edit: a discrepancy from the last post stated tubers were from DM east; there are tubers there but FOOD tubers (Runn Tum Tuber), not Whipper Roots.
As well, the one black diamond can be easily found off the AH or in BRD, fairly uncommon drops but they drop nonetheless. You can expect 2~3 per run.
And finally, the NPC in question to hand it in (Mathendris Firestar) can be found on this map: http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?m=6394

Lore for today

Who: Malfurion Stormrage, aka Furion, aka Shan'do (honored teacher) Stormrage.

What: Night elf through and through, baby.

History: Malfurion and Illidan Stormrage were fairly happy, carefree young night elves, or younger night elves, or however you refer to immortal races. They enjoyed hanging out with their close friend Tyrande Whisperwind. As the trio grew older, they had to choose their paths in life. Malfurion and Illidan went to study the druidic magics under the demigod Cenarius, while Tyrande joined the priesthood of the Sisters of Elune. Illidan soon "failed out" of Cenarius's teachings and decided to study arcane magic instead, but Malfurion proved to be really good at druidism and became a noted scholar.
During his studies, Malfurion noted that Queen Azshara was becoming secretive and elusive. He saw in the Emerald Dream (the dreamstate of the Green Dragonflight) that the night elves' use of magic would lead them to destruction, which turned out to be correct. The evil titan Sargeras had noticed that the elves were messing around with powerful magics in the Well of Eternity, and corrupted the Highborne and their Queen, Azshara. It was time for the War of the Ancients!

In addition to the Black Temple's appearance in the upcoming 2.1 patch, an abundance of new solo and small-group content is coming to World of Warcraft. Groups and solo adventurers will discover much to do in the new quest hubs of Skettis, Ogri'la, and the Ethereum Prison. Druids will be able to acquire their epic Flight Form, and what's more, everyone can now quest for their very own Nether Drake epic flying mount! Read about these additions in more detail on our Under Development page.

Easter in WOW

Noblegarden comes but once a year,
ushering in a day of cheer...
for no one has a thing to fear from painted eggs and festive gear.

The feast of Noblegarden, which will take place this year on Sunday, April 8, is a celebration of life and friendship, a time for the races of Azeroth to come together with their kindred and reaffirm the common bonds between them. What better way to do this than to look for hidden painted eggs? The brightly-colored Noblegarden eggs can be found throughout Azeroth, near the capital cities and towns. Opening them will yield an assortment of treats unique to the holiday. Enjoy

wow thing of the week

Name: Blinkstrike
Type: Epic One-hand Sword (which means, yes, it can be dual-wielded)
Damage/Speed: 143 - 267 / 2.60 (78.8 DPS)
Abilities:

chance on hit: adds an extra attack to your swing.
What, no other stats? Nope, it doesn't need any other stats-- that proc might be the best one in the game. Players who've had one say it procs about 5-6% of the time, which is nice, but here's the big deal: unlike most "extra attack" procs, this one supposedly chains. As in, you hit once, get an extra attack, and then get another extra attack from the extra attack. One player reported seeing 8 hits chained in a row-- that's around 1300 damage without any crits with one swing. Ummm... yeah. Unstoppable much?

Because of that, this thing is perfect for combat rogues, but fury warriors will love it too (Tanks will find better defensive swords, but they have to PvP sometimes, too, right?). Bewarned: the chaining thing is very likely a bug, but even if Blizzard nerfs that, extra attacks are teh win.
How to Get It: With a weapon as crazy as this one, you know they're not going to just give it out. In fact, that's exactly what they're doing, but very, very rarely-- it's a very rare World Drop, which means it could drop from anywhere at any time. Some servers haven't even seen them yet, though, so if you really want one from a drop, you'll be killing things for a long time.

The better option would probably be to just farm the gold-- they're selling on the AHs for anywhere from 1500 to 3000g. At least it's not as much as an epic mount, right? If you do go the raising money route, make sure you can find a seller first-- make friends with your guildies, in case they get one, and keep an eye on your AH and your realm forums to see if anyone's found a Blinkstrike to sell.

A Blinkstrike is more of a weapon you just come across if you're lucky, rather than grinding or questing for. But everyone can dream, right?

Getting Rid of It: If you're crazy, a vendor will give you 10g, 19s, 34c for it, and it'll DE into... well, it'll DE, but no one has DE'd it yet-- probably a Large Prismatic Shard or a Nexus Void Crystal, if I had to guess. Of course, if you have one that you can't get rid of and can't use, feel free to drop it in the mail to Punishment on Thunderhorn-- I'd love one!

The Warcraft Armory

The Warcraft Armory: Dynamic Character Profiles, Arena Ladders, and More!

Blizzard is proud to unveil the beta test stage of World of Warcraft Armory, the next big step in the evolution of the official World of Warcraft community website. Located at http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com, this beta version of our new dynamic site offers some brand-new web features using information taken directly from the World of Warcraft game database:

Character Profiles: View equipment, stats, skills, reputation, and talent build of every character above level ten with the in-depth Character Profiles. You can check out your own characters, or check out those of your friends and guild mates – all characters from all realms are listed in the armory.

Guild Profiles: Access information about any guild, including the guild’s roster and a detailed statistical breakdown of the guild’s race, class, gender, and level combination with the Guild Profiles.

Arena Team Profiles: See how your team is doing or check out the competition with the Arena Team Profiles. These profiles provide you with some very valuable information about your team, like your team rating, your standing, win/loss history, and team membership.

Arena Ladders: Always stay up-to-date on which team holds the top spot, which teams are quickly climbing up the ranks, and the players to watch out for, with the PvP Arena Ladder.

Head over to the brand-new World of Warcraft Armory beta website now, and make sure to add http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com to your bookmarks. If you have any Armory feedback or suggestions, don’t hesitate to post in this forum thread and let us know what you think.

We hope you’ll enjoy this new site!

tabard

Name: Tabard of Laos Flipor
Type: Tabard
Armor: NA
Abilities:

It's a tabard with stats! +10 Strength, +10 Agility, +10 Stamina, +10 Intellect,, and +10 Spirit (kind of like The 1 Ring, but ten times better!)
You may not think +10 is much of a bonus, but +10 Intellect means an extra 150 mana. And +10 Agility actually grants a whopping +20 Armor. Added up, these all mean a lot, and the fact that they're on a tabard makes them just icing on the cake.
Laos Flipor, if you weren't already aware, is a little-known lore figure-- she used to be a jester in the Court of Lordaeron. She was known for telling bad jokes, and apparently she told one too many and got Arthas angry at her. Right after he murdered Dad in WC III, he offed her, too.
How to Get It: If you've ever done the CLUCK! quest in Westfall, you'll be able to do this one. You can get the tabard from (where else?) the guild tabard vendor in every capital city. But they won't offer it to you unless you can prove, like Laos, how funny you are. So just go up to a guild tabard vendor, target them, and do the /silly emote 200 times.

200 jokes later, a ? will pop up above the tabard vendor's head, and this baby is yours.
